Why Do People Do Animal Testing?
by Brittany

People do animal testing because they feel that people should have the
best possible product that they can have. So they feel that they have the
right to test on animals, instead of testing on themselves.

Why we shouldn’t test on animals:

Most animal testing takes place in New York. The things that researchers test on animals are mostly makeup, medicines such as acne treatment, a whole bunch of shampoo, and about five thousand more things that I can’t even name here. They also test acid on animals and most of the animals end up dying. Researchers also permanently dye monkey hair, which can give them ink poisoning. If the monkeys do not die from ink poisoning immediately, they will most likely die later. Over 115 million animals have died because of animal testing.

How to avoid animal testing:

Almost every second and every minute of every year an animal dies because of animal testing. What we can do to avoid animal testing is to not buy clothes that are made with real fur. We should not buy any products that use animal testing. For example, Aveda, Bonne Bell, Revlon, Seventh Generation, Stuff by Hilary Duff, and several other cosmetic companies have the “cruelty free” label on their products. What we could also do to avoid animal testing is that we could have the animal testing researches test on humans so that they can see how they feel when they are tested on.

I hope what I wrote changed your mind about animal testing, so if you can,
TRY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!
