How to be a Good B-Ball Player
by Drew

Did you ever think about how to be a good basketball player? Well I did some thinking and I found out
that in order to be a good b-ball player you have to listen to your coach and you have to do the drills right.
When you are at practice, you might have to run a 30 second, a lay up, and a shooting drill. These will help
you gain speed and stamina. Suicide drills helps you run faster, too. In order to run with the basketball,
you have to get passing and dribbling skills. First, you have to know how to dribble between the legs in order
to get past your opponent. Then you have to learn how to pass the ball without getting the ball stolen from
you by your opponent. Next, you have to get a good shot off of your opponent. To do this, you can pump fake,
and then you can take the ball to the hoop for a lay up. In order to lay the basketball up from the right side,
you have to dribble with your right hand. If you take the ball on the left side, you dribble with that hand, or
take the shot for a 2 point or 3 point shot. In order to take the shot, you have to put your right hand on the
back and the left hand on the side.

Now you know how to get past your opponent and take the shot. Now that you’ve read about these basics of
basketball, you’ll know more about basketball for the next time that you want to play.
