Sharks vs. Dolphins

   Do you want to know about how sharks are different from dolphins? Well you should
know that some sharks are ENDANGERED SPECIES! Great white sharks are not as dangerous
as we often imagine. Great white sharks weigh at lease 5,000 Ibs. Great white sharks are smaller
than school buses. Great white sharks can detect one drop of blood in 25 gallons of water. Wow!
That’s amazing. I didn’t even know that. They are carnivores. Sharks can swim up to 15 miles
per hour, which is 24 kilometers. Sharks have many preys such as seals, sea lions, small tooth
whales, sea turtles and carrior. Well you, now you’ve learned a bit about Sharks, so I’m going to
tell you about Bottlenose dolphins. Bottlenose dolphins live up to 45 to 50 years wow that’s
long. They also can make 1,000 clicking noises per second. Did you know that Bottlenose
dolphins can swim up to 18 miles {30 kilometers} per hour? A dolphin’s group name is a pod.
Dolphins eat dwelling fishes, shrimps, squids and leftover fish, and they have very acute hearing.
Also, did you know that the average dolphin is taller than a six foot man?

   Now that you’ve learned some interesting facts about sharks and dolphins, I’m going to
tell you more specifically about how they are different from each other. Bottlenose dolphins can
do complex tricks, such as whistling, which sharks cannot. Dolphins live in warm tropical water
while sharks live in cold water. One really unique thing about dolphins is that they can jump up
