White tigers can be very cute and real gentle animals. But
if you mess with them too much they can get mad and
attack you and sometimes kill you. Five kinds of white
tigers are alive in the world today. The names of the white
tigers are Siberian, south china, indochinese, beagle, and
Sumatra. Tigers in the world today are considered the
biggest cats in the world. White tigers live in steamy hot
jungles. Adult tigers have to live alone because they can
get more food faster and better then a group of tigers.
Mother tigers live with their cubs because the cubs cant
get food on their own. There are about 5,000-7,400 kinds
of white tigers left in the wild. The kinds of tigers that are
left in the wild are the subspecies Bali and Java. Did you
know that beagle tigers are the only white tigers that live in
the snow? Some white tigers’ eye are green, blue, or
amber. Wild tigers can grow to be 65-2,000 pounds [30-
900 kg]. Tigers can eat up to 40 pounds of meat at one
time. When they are done eating they will not eat for
several days. Tigers are the biggest cats in the world
today. Did you know that the only way to get a real white
tiger is to mate a brother to a sister, a father to daughter,
or a mother to a son?
